You can hike the trails of Glacier National Park, mountain bike the rugged terrain of the Flathead National Forest or ride the whitewater of untamed rivers, all within easy driving distance of the resort. - Marina Cay Water Rentals
- Rent any of the following right from the dock at the resort: Ski boats and ski equipment, fishing boats, canoes, wave runners, jet skis, & aquacycles, kayaks, bikes, surf bikes, rafts, wakeboards, ropes and more!
- Fishing Charters
- Charters are available from the dock at the Marina Cay with "A-Able" or inquire at the front desk.
- Far West Cruise
- The Far West departs from Somers Bay on Hwy 93 located 20 minutes from the Marina Cay.
- The Questa
- A 51' Q-Class sailing vessel which departs from Flathead Lake Lodge four times daily during summer months.
- Para Sailing
- Available at the Dock of the Bay at waters edge. Opens July 1st.
- Wayfarers Park
- Just 3 minutes from the hotel, offers picnic area, beach, dock and sunning rocks on Flathead Lake. Perfect for the family or full throttle skier!
Skiing
Big Mountain Ski Area
Located in nearby Whitefish, the Big Mountain offers 3,000 acres of skiable terrain for the beginner to the advanced. The summit elevation is 7,000 feet with a vertical drop of 2,300 feet. Open Thanksgiving to mid April.
Blacktail Ski Area
Just 30 minutes from Bigfork, due west of Lakeside, Blacktail Mountain offers 24 groomed runs on 200 developed acres of Flathead National Forest. The summit elevation is 5200 feet with a vertical drop of 1440 feet. The season runs from mid-November to April, Wednesday through Sunday.

For the golfer, the Flathead Valley is home to 7 excellent courses, each with its own unique character. From the rolling fairways of Meadow Lake to the challenging terrain of our neighboring Eagle Bend, amateur and expert alike will enjoy challenging rounds on courses that make the most of Northwest Montana's spectacular scenery.

The Bigfork Playhouse
The Bigfork Center of the Performing Arts is home for the highly acclaimed summer stock theatre. Broadway hits have been performed for the past 37 years. A variety of year round entertainment may be found at the Center.
Glacier National Park
Only 32 miles from the Marina Cay Resort is one of America's jewels. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and wildlife that this million acre National park has to offer. Combined with Canada's Waterton Lakes National Park they form the Waterton/Glacier National Peace Park.

- Cherry Blossom Festival - Whitewater Festival Slalom races on the Swan River's class 5 course.
- June - August
- Bigfork Playhouse opens. Riverbend Music Concerts every Sunday in Sliters Park.
- 4th of July
- An old fashioned celebration with a parade, children's carnival, fireworks and food.
- August
- Bigfork Festival of the Arts. The main street fills with art and artists for the first weekend.

- October
- Tamarack Time - enjoy the bounties of the harvest.

- The town is dressed for Christmas.

- Bigfork glistens in a winter blanket of white.
Bigfork at Christmas
Discover the magic of Christmas in Bigfork where strolling carolers, sleigh rides and Santa may be found. The entire town is decorated in holiday finery by the local residents. shops and galleries are open with special events happening every weekend from Thanksgiving to New Years.
